I recommend this hotel for those looking for a hotel with great value. It's a basic hotel with
bed and breakfast, no fancy pools or gyms. The hotel is very conveniently located in
Sultanhamet, the old section of the city, within walking distance to major attractions, such as
the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, or the Topkapi Palace. The Spice Market and the Grand Bazaar
are are only two tram stations away. There are restaurants and shops right in the immediate
area, as well as a very nice bazaar.
The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The only very minor problem we
had was the water pressure in the bathroom sink being a bit low, but otherwise, the room was
very comfortable, with free wifi, flat screen T.V., and complimentary tea and coffee in the
room, slippers and bathrobes. Breakfast was very good and had lots of hot and cold choices.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The pick up and drop off service to and from the
airport was very appreciated. We will certainly be back, as we fell in love with Istanbul, and
Angel's Hotel made our stay even better.
