We stayed at Angel's Home Hotel for 3 nights while we were in Istanbul and cannot
recommend it highly enough. The staff went out of their way to help us and happily stored our
bags for us while we were out of town. The room was clean and comfortable and the included
breakfast was more than adequate. It was quiet during the night but as we were in a room
immediately next to the breakfast area and reception you could hear people moving around in
the morning but it wasn't early and it didn't really disturb us. If you're a particularly light
sleeper and want to sleep in in the morning it might be worth bringing earplugs, but that seems
to generally be a good idea for Istanbul anyway.

The location was also perfect with it only being a short walk to the blue mosque, hippodrome
and Aya Sofya.

All up it was a wonderful place to stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Le personnel est tout à fait sympathique. La chambre est propre. Le lit est confortable et garni
d'une couette. Les goodies sont... amusants : kit de rasage, serviette hygiénique, préservatif...
Il ne faut évidemment pas s'attendre à du luxe, l'équipement est basique et un peu vieillot
mais convenable. Le véritable attrait de cet hôtel (outre le prix) est son emplacement : à deux
pas de la mosquée bleue et de Sainte Sophie.
Le petit déjeuner est basique : pain blanc, pain gris, crêpes, feuilletés au fromage et à la
saucisse... Et bien-sûr des olives et tout ce qu'on peut imaginer proposé avec. Mais c'est
suffisant.
Nous avions la chambre qui donne sur l'entrée et au-dessus de la réception, c'était assez
bruyant mais pas vraiment dérangeant.
Je pourrais y retourner mais surtout je retournerais à Istanbul (magnifique ville, peuple
charmant)

Actually after living a couple of years in Istanbul this was my first private trip (with my
mother). And it was a great experience as..
* price was very fair considering the excellent location
* even knowing the great friendliness in Turkey, we were hosted exceptionally kind
* rooms were clean and with nice little features (deposit save for free, bath rope, etc)
Well, the walls are not very thick - but in a historic area you cannot expect a 21st century brick
wall :-)

So, all in all a great choice!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (alle sprechen gut Englisch), egal ob es um
verlorene Koffer oder Tipps fürs Sightseeing geht.
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und für jeden Geschmack geeignet.
Die Zimmer sind ruhig und liebevoll eingerichtet, wenn auch klein und das Bad mit wenig
Ablegemöglichkeiten.
Die Lage ist einmalig: ruhig und doch mitten in der Altstadt und nur wenige Gehminuten
entfernt von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, vom Hafen und zur Tramstation.
Preis-Leistung ist einwandfrei. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Warm and friendly staff really make this hotel, which quickly feels like a little piece of very
comfortable home. The decor is pretty and light and it's perfectly situated close to the major
historic sites of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The district it's in has some great places to eat

You can easily call it your home. hotel's position is perfect, close to everything (Blue Mosque,
Aya Sofia, Topkapi palace and the tram station).
Hotel staff was so professional ! from the moment i arrived i found a warm reception and
helpful staff advising you of everything and showing you maps for every place around you.
Kaan at the reception is like a friend and he made the vacation so easy and joyful! Umit also
was doing his work smiling all the time.
Mr. Mohamed the hotel Owner was around all the time and i always saw him checking the
breakfast buffet and making sure that every single item is cooked and done in the most proper
way.
the room was so clean, well decorated and the housekeeping was doing their job so efficient.
i recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to spend a nice vacation in a beautiful place
feels same as home...
