When you come out of the hotel
you will feel the culture of Byzantine Empire. The hotel is
within walking distance to Byzantine and Ottoman Monuments,
such as St. Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi
Palace and Grand Bazaar. Also other Istanbul attactions -
as the Cemberlitas Hamami (Turkish Bath) and the Spice Market
- are only a few minutes walk from us.
Angel's Home Hotel was built
in the beginning of the 20th century by Admiral Tafdil and
his wife Melek (Angel), who gave her name to the house. A
street nearby the house was also named after the Admiral.
Angel's Home opened its doors
as a boutique hotel in October 2003 after being restaured
to its original state and is run by the Duyar brothers.
